Time to call it quits and my time has come to and end!!!

What he hasn't told everyone is he has called it quits for vids...because he just discovered pins. ;)

You're never truly "done" with this stuff. :)

I don't know, a 5 year-old picture of something you sold a long time ago is pretty irrelevant. And scrolling through someone's photosuckit only to pour over page upon page of stuff that was sold long ago, only serves to frustrate potential buyers. Personally I prefer uploading to the forum itself. And when it comes to archival purposes, well the internet cannot be trusted to keep data for you - hard copy or cry, it's inevitable.

Yeah, don't do that. I hate going back to old threads only to find the the poster has deleted his images.

And on the topic at hand : I'm betting pins, too. It's the natural financial progression from cheapass vids to sell-your-organs pinballs.

If you wanted to be just bad-ass about it, you could upload all the pictures, and then have a seperate folder with copies of the pictures in it that are for sale. Then you could have people that are looking to buy something browse that folder, but you could leave the picture up forever in the other folder that you linked to the post.

Personally I wouldnt' go through all that trouble :) ... but that's a solution, if you're looking for a compromise.

Sorry sosage, but I did discover pins and will not be getting another. If I had the room I wouldn't mind getting a newer pin along with my whirlwind, but thats it. I have nothing against pins, but just cant see the point in having more than 2. They all have the the same game play with different themes and ramps in different areas. Just not enough variety for me to have a basement full. I'll take vids over pins anyway. They might not be worth as much or hold there value, but they all have totally different game play with different joysticks/trackballs and different cabinets for looks. I'm sure most probably think I'm crazy, but that's my take on both type of machines.

Yes I will still continue buyer, fixing, selling & trading games. I'm just not getting or keeping anything else for myself. I'm going to work on clearing my floors and movie room so I can enjoy my basement again. Its been a mess because I kept adding and selling games out of my basement. Now everything stays an prey I dont get anymore offers for my personal games I cant turn down. I'm definetly not adding anything else and it also helps I have no room. I'm very happy with my set up & choice of games now.

PLEASE!PLEASE!PLEEASE!! Tell us this means you'll be having a get together sooner than later!!!???? You have at least 20 games that I have never seen or played, that I need to see and play. lol

I generally upload everything to the forum too, that way it will (should) stay there as long as the forum is there. If I'm posting something sensitive like a picture of myself, I host it myself and embed it in my post so I can take it down at will.

I just got my first pin running today and I am HOOKED. I remember when I was getting into vids I said "Yeah, maybe 2 or 3 and that should be plenty". Look at me now! I'm saying the same thing about pins now too, "Three should be all I ever need". Yeah right.

awesome, now you just need to get all the extra junk out of your house and throw a proper arcade party, i mean what else can you do with 40+ arcade games in playable condition? it's silly to just have them sitting there.

since I'm just an hour away you can be sure I'll show up for that.

I can't wait too. Just hope I can get it to this point. You dont realize how much stuff you actual have until you start trying to put things away. All I seem to be doing is moving things from one place to another because I have nowhere else to put it. I started another for sale list which I will just keep adding to in hopes to make a dent around here.

I think Mr. DNS will be getting into pinball next or at least I hope so. I have built a large part of my arcade through DNS and hope to do the same with pins...

Just set a date for a party and it will force you to clean things out!
