I just bought this Sky Diver (Atari-1978) from Allen (alejandromad) and he delivered it today.

You don't see these too often. I've never played it, but I watched a youtube video and it looks cool and very challenging.

The old B & W's are taking over my arcade! They get the most play. Gun Fight, Sea Wolf, Sprint 2, Space Invaders, now Sky Diver.

I love this stuff!

That's cool as hell.. Always wanted one of those and a canyon bomber. Nice game.

If you ever want to get rid of it and sell it PLEASE let me know. I loved this game on Atari as a kid, along with combat it was my favorite.

Very nice acquistion!

I know the feeling being hooked to these B & W's - yet to own one, but got a list of wants!

Back to Skydiver... Never played it, but it looks very similar to Exidy's Ripcord. Which is a game I always want to own due to the publicity photo in the Colecovision booklet...

Didn't you guys play that on Atari 2600 as a kid?

Fun game, looks to be in great shape. I love the old b/w's. Nice collection.

Nice pic John. Does the game work or no? If not, I guess you'll be keeping Andre busy :)

I think maybe something came loose during transport; so I have to take a closer look with my limited skills. The monitor glows nicely; Allen thought that maybe the board isn't getting the right voltage. I'll check the pinouts later.

Great artwork on that.. It looks to me like the Asteroids cabinet and others grew out of that. Stretch it a little here, push it a little there, ....

Sky Diver is one I haven't played yet but really want to. it looks like a fun game and I like how they make the letters on the marque light up individually.
