I just picked up Time Soldiers and player 1 works fine. When I coin up player 2, the rotary function does not work, and if I try to move the joystick it resets the game. This is my first time owning a rotary game, and I wanted to ask for opinions before I dive into it. Thoughts?

Your connector for the player 2 is not connected properly or there is a problem with the wiring to that, player 2, controller. It is probably shorting the supply and causing the reset issue. Look at the wiring and make certain it is connected properly. It may also be the player 2 start button, in any case look at ALL wiring and verify it is going to the correct connectors and connected properly, not connected backwards or turned around.

Well, it was a super simple fix. The player 2 up power wire was exposed and touching one of the joystick mounting posts. That took care of the powering off. It still would not rotate, so I removed the rotary cable that runs from the pcb to the joystick, and found out it was on wrong. 2 minutes and machine was running. Thanks for the tips!
