I am restoring a Taito Qix that was converted to a Time Soldiers. It was painted blue by a previous owner. I've had to cut 10" off the bottom and replace the MDF. I already have a QIX that I am bringing back to original, I mention that so my fellow purists do not suggest it be returned to glory as a QIX.

My question is, what color is Time Soldiers usually? I know it's a kit and it's a whatever you want it to be kind of kit but I'm interested in the consensus. Thanks!

So many op's just went with the good ole 'paint it all black and throw the sticker on' method with these kits, so that's what I'm used to seeing. Blue tmolding makes it pop a little as long as it matches the cpo.
I have an hs1 I'll be using for a time soldiers. I only wish it had full side art.

Here's what I had decided with mine and made fitting side art to fit the HS-1 cabinet: https://forums.arcade-museum.com/threads/new-time-soldiers-custom-art-restoration.408456/

A blue cabinet color would look pretty nice also!
