I recently received a black cabinet Time Pilot as trade for a Defender. I have the coin door off and noticed the slam switch is broke. Which led me to wonder about a few other things.

In the attached image:
  • in red, the lead broke off from the slam switch.
I assume I can disassemble switch and repair? Or should I replace?
I know some games use the slam to advance tests, does time pilot use the slam switch during diagnostics?
I also don't see the slam on the schematic but assume it's connected to reset

  • in green is the test switch: On, Off, Momentary.
I don't see reference to this switch in the manual and didn't find mentioned in a search. I also don't see it on the schematic
Are there test screens in time pilot? I can't currently try it since I have the door disconnected.

  • in blue are threaded posts. Do these have a purpose?

thanks

You don't need the slam switch. Just remove it and solder those black wires together (assuming it is a normally-closed switch). Edit: Looking at your pics, that might be a normally-open switch.
I believe that green switch hooks up to the Service input, which just adds free credits.
What you have circled in blue are guides for a security lock cam, which you don't need.
