I have a Time Pilot pcb that I put into a Scramble cabinet. Everything works except the fire button only fires from P2 Fire. I would like it to fire from the P1 Fire which is also the P1 start.

It looks like P1 Fire and P2 Fire are wired together with a loop. I disconnected the P2 fire but then neither fire button worked. There is also a diode on the P1 Fire/Start button.

Any ideas on how to get this to work?

Yeah, it's an odd set up. I still haven't gone back and tried replacing the diode with a jumper. Start there and see. Curious to hear how it goes.

It worked. Removed the switch diodes and added a straight jumper and it works great.

Also made sure the Scramble still works as it should and it does.

Excellent! Good to know, thanks!

I'm going to do that and see if it has any effect on the "phantom button input" with the ArcadeSD and the Scramble set up. Through many of the ASD games random joystick movement will cause a button input response. Which sucks. Especially when you are having a great game of ZooKeeper and you start jumping randomly. Grrrrr...

One thing i found also is to only jumper the p1fire/start button and not the p1bomb/start because it then turns the p2bomb button into another start button. So, I took that jumper off to use that p2bomb button to enter high scores. Kind of weird but it works. The other buttons just start another game and doesn't let you enter initials. Hope that makes sense.

That button is supposed to function as both. If you disconnect the jumper, I would assume you can't start a 2 player game.

No, I can start a two player game with the jumper removed. With the jumper attached, I can start a two player game with either bomb button. Same with the fire button. With a jumper, either firebutton will start a one player game.
