Time Pilot Black
My best friends favorite game back in the day. As kids we played it at different locations but i remember a Chuck E Cheeses that had it and we could play for free because the control panel had come loose enough to stick an arm in and credit up. Original cabinet was pretty beat - bezel, side art faded and torn. Marquee was peeling really bad. Control panel was cracked, dirty and faded.
Cabinet and Hardware:
Built brand new black melamine cabinet (almost went with original wood grain but wanted to try something new.)
Stripped and powder coated CP, bolts, brackets, speaker mesh, coin bucket
New T-molding
New Locks
New Vinyl Casters
New buttons
NOS Monroe Joystick (thanks Pete)
Cosmetics:
Side Art: Brand new reproduction side art from Rich at thisoldgame.com (Rich and i spent a lot of time going back and forth making adjustments until it was perfect.)
Bezel: Scanned and cleaned up, made and printed my own - vinyl decal on matte board, hand cut
Inner paper bezel: made my own black hand cut one to hide the monitor frame
NOS marquee (thanks Allen -alejandromad)
NOS control panel overlay - found it digging through an ops warehouse
Custom Centuri coin bezel inserts
New smoked bezel glass
Electronics:
Cleanup/restored inside guts: power supply, wire harness, PCB, etc.
NOS 19 WG (thanks again Pete)
New Speakers
Restored power supply (yes that's an Atari Power Brick and ARII board)
Cleaned boards and wire harness
New Power Cord
New Marquee Light Fixture/Bulb
