Can anyone tell me if a time killers arcade is worth 150 bucks in its original cabinent. Is it worth getting or not? I already have all the mortal kombats. Im gonna go play it b4 I decide to buy it or not but wanted your guys opinions on the game. Your help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

I think it's a pretty craptastic game. Certainly not worth $150.

Now, if it has a nice cabinet and monitor and you're in need...well, that might make it worth it.

(Wasn't this game available only as a kit? Can't recall ever seeing a dedicated Time Killers.)

Time Killers, I remember that game. In an attempt to outdo MK, they gave you the option of chopping off limbs, hacking and slashing with weapons.

A lousy game, but one to have in your collection if you like fighting games.

Not one of the better fighters.....I remember the owner of our local arcade was telling us about this game, telling us how awesome and vilolent it was. When it finally showed up in the arcade, people played it a few times, then went back to Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter.

i had one
it was fun to play 1 time then it got old
the mech of the fighting are just not very smooth and once you ge past the total awsomeness of the blood and gore it a horrible game
but for 150 $ you can probaly get yourself a nice jamma cab and throw another game in it

My Punch-Out was converted to a Time Killers when I first got it, though the Time Killers boardset was gone. Fortunately no permanent damage was done. I had to replace a lot of stuff to get the stink of that game off though (marquee, wiring harness, power supply, control panel [the original PO CP had been Swiss-cheesed]).

It is a terrible game, brought to you by the same people that later created "Street Fighter: The Movie". Try it in MAME if you've never played it.

And like others have said, this was a kit game. No such thing as a dedicated Time Killers machine.

If I liked the type of cabinet it was in and everything was in good shape then I'd probably pay $150 for it. It wouldn't be home to Time Killers for long though.
