Hello Everyone-

I have a Time Fantasy pinball I would like to restore. The playfield is in bad shape and needs to be repainted or replaced. I am having a very hard time finding someone who could restore this low production pinball. Does anyone have any recomendations or replacement playfields they can sell me?

Ok, I know this is an old thread but, I am gonna bring it back and hi-Jack it as I am also doing a resto on one and am searching for a source for restoring or resurfacing MY playfielsd?... (ok... it IS a typo but, considering the pin... I though it was funny enough to leave)

Get some good enamel paints, a variety of artist's brushes and drop a LOT of LSD. That trippy playfield will paint itself...man, the colors are singing.... :) :)

The pin is a trip. It took me 3 years but I finally found a playfield for it in excellent condition.

I did the swap and even submitted the pictures to the KLOV database for all to enjoy: http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=13620

I did a mod on the Time tube so when the ball went in it wouldn't hit the plastic since it is so fragile most of them are broken. Rare pin so take care of it. :)

This may be a silly question but... Were they originally painted? Or was is some sort of overlay? Because if you think the design and colors are trippy... You ought to see what colors are UNDERNEATH where it has worn down!

I would love to get a hold of one of these, never have seen one in person... I love the Williams pins of the 80's. :D

Silkscreened paint

So, I am guessing that the screens are LOOOOONG gone to do a "real" resto on one... any ideas for repair/repaint? (The worn spots are deep enough that it will affect ball travel...

I have local companies that do silk screening as well as I have some close friend that are professional painters...

I thought I could fill the low spots and have paint retouched, then clear coat the playfield to smooth it all out?

Just thoughts.

I really want to get this in a playable state.
