I am thinking to get some of these to put inside games I ship. I have had a lot of problems with PilotAir lately, and I am pretty sure a game that I had strapped to a pallet spent some time on it's side. For $1.50 each, I am thinking I can put one of these on the inside of the cabinet and know for sure that it stayed upright the entire time.

Anybody ever use one of these?

I have not used one before, but it's definitely something cool to add to a package, especially something important.

Oh hell's yeah. That's a great little thing, if it works.

How about adding a GPS chip in there?

I used to use those at work for important stuff and figured if I ever shipped a game I would use them. You can get this at any shipping supply store if you don't want to pay shipping, or order a bunch of them through uline.com. You can also get the shock ones, that will show how much trama the package has gone through.

We use these at work when getting expensive equipment shipped overseas. They seem to work. I don't know what the exact threshold tilt angle is, but apparently it's greater than what is encountered during aircraft takeoff.

How do they work exactly is there some sort of seal in them that you break when using it the first time? I ask because if it was mailed to that thing will be flipped around in the mail before it gets to you and could turn the indicator red.
