Whats everyone's thoughts on resurrecting old threads? I for one think it cuts down on forum clutter, can close/resolve troubleshooting threads, and makes the seldom used search option easier to use, but i know some feel it's poor form.

I'm wondering what everyone else thinks?

I would rather see a topic resurrected rather then 100 topics on the same thing.

Jimmy you know how I love to dig up old threads, I even look for the oldest threads sometimes, and if the thread is good I might post in it. I might do that later today.

Some old threads should be resurrected for the information they have.

But I do think some "For Sale" threads should be deleted for items that have been sold but don't show what price they sold for. Those threads don't tell you anything and just take up forum space and waste your time if you're trying to get an idea on what to price a similar item at. If you agree, give me a "Hell yeah!".

I think we should ban users who delete the price they sold things for from their thread. :)

its frickin awesome, shuddup and take it like a man! :D

I like the consolidation, but I mainly resurrect threads for closure. Especially when I'm faced with a similar issue or task - board debug, placing orders with new vendors, staining concrete floors, rebuilding the pulley in the middle of a rubber chicken, or whatever.
