Thoughts on "Mean Well (MW)" brand power supplies
I recently had a buddy order a replacement power supply which we thought was going to be a happ power pro (from the item image on the site he ordered), and recieved a MW/ Mean Well unit MWP-606. (should have known better when the price was so low lol)
Now I see these are made in Taiwan and i've heard things about the cheap Taiwanese ones but was wondering if anyone has ever had or come across this specific brand and what their thoughts were on it.
The one we installed in his machine seems to work great so far (then again i just got done putting it in), so i have no complaints as of yet.
specs and datasheet for this model:

Interestingly enough after looking over the specs for the mw 606 vs the one we were suppose to get the mw is only 104watt while the one we were suppose to get was 115watt, the 12v line is rated at 2A vs 3A, and the efficiency is 10% lower....
