I got to hear it this weekend. If you have not heard this from your kids friends regarding your arcade games I hope you get to soon. My son has friends that are now also asking "will your dad let us play the arcades?" when they come over to hang out & play Wii. Teens may not want to plunk down quarters like we did but the classic games still have "it".

I've heard it. My kids aren't teens yet but their friends ask to have birthday parties at our house :)

I've also heard "What is that" from a teen when I was moving a Pole Position into my office. I said "it's Pole Position". She replied with "No, I mean it's like a huge...thing - what is it?". Then I realized she hadn't seen an arcade game before. I stared blankly at her for a second, shook my head then went back to shoving this huge...thing into my office.

It's good to see some kids these days have interest in the classics. Some on the other hand are stuck up consoles ass's. My oldest boy for example, he never joins the family when we play my games because he's too busy playing MW2 or WOW and wants nothing to do with it. Now that he has been banned from all video games in general due to consuming his life he is finally seeing the light LOL. My other boy and girl love the things and beg to play them all the time ,especially my daughter as she has been growing up around them since she was smaller. My youngest boys only experience with cabs is when he went to Chucky cheese 3-4 times, but he says my games are way better. I chuckled.

Killing his WoW subscription was definitely a step in the right direction towards turning him into an actual human being. And not as a ding on your collection by any stretch, but I have a BloodStorm and a multi fighter and that still *kills* the stuff on offer the last time I saw the inside of a chuck e cheese. :)

Hhaha You know, Funny thing is, WOW was a trial subscription that he has been renewing for the past year because his mom refused to pay for it. She didn't want him on it for the rest of his life. Chucky chees has always been a joke and it's pretty sad when a 6 yr old knows a shitty arcade game when he see's it. He thinks CEC is for babies and prefers this place we have locally.......

This place absolutely destroys CEC ,but for some reason they are still packed with mini vans and SUV's every weekend.
