I stripped a completely untouched CPO, (well i dont count the front since i practiced on that) in 7 minutes using this tool

Dremel Multimax

I have to say this tool is absolutely amazing especially for CPO removal. This was a previous T&F that was made into a Rush n Attack. I need to make it a T& F again!

How does it work

I have a centipede to do probably tomorrow and i plan on taking some video of it but on the dremel multimax you take the blade looking attachment and it gets up under the old CPO and it just vibrates and seperates it from the metal. Pretty sweet IMO.

I bet that's very similar to this that Harbor Freight sells - Similar to the Fein multi tool you see on tv-

it comes with a sharp scraping blade as well. I bought one a few weeks ago, and its fantastic for cutting caulk- eats through it like a hot knife through butter.

edit - and it's only 39.99- and they run it on sale regularly for 29.99

I've not had mine long - a couple of months or so - they just came out with them not long ago. I've wore out 2 cutter blades so far, and i can't that the unit's wore any at all. It doesn't get hot and smell funky or anything like that. it appears to be fairly well made, it feels solid, if that makes sense. I figured that for the cost of the fein tool, i could purchase a bunch of these. If you catch em on sale, at 30 each, you can buy 3 for the price of one of the dremel's.... So, for me, reliability is important, but truthfully, i can't tell you how many dremel tools i've wore out over the years- 3 or 4. (i used to build alot of r/c airplanes and used one alot for that) so dremel doesn't have a special place for me as far as reliability goes.
