You started that thread with no true committment to laying off getting games. I'm sure if it was a hotter game for $50 you wouldn't "pass it to a KLOVer"

jehuie is a genuinely good guy.
sure he gets a lot of good deals for himself. I love that for him. but he could just ignore the cl posting. He chose to help someone out on the forum. He could have picked it up and flipped it for $200 tomorrow and maybe he still will. It would be a good deal for someone I am sure (he has good judgement on condition).
I take him at his word. He hasn't given us any reason to do otherwise.

I think the point is that a week ago he was posting asking for help to stop his issues with being obsessed with getting more games. According to his post from last week, he did not want to get any more games for the rest of the year. You guys are acting as enablers.

Why is he going through Craigslist and calling people about games for sale, regardless of what the price is? Is there some kind of caveat that there are no more games for the rest of the year unless they are $50? He even left an option for himself to keep it if no one else wants it. Who cares if he's flipping it or not, or plans to hold onto it, the point is that he can't control himself.

Just trying to be helpful, and he's the one who asked for help in the first place.

I'm not searching CL for games now. But I haven't disabled my phone app that sends them to me automatically. I should probably do that. Actually, someone sent me a private e-mail alerting me to this game as well.

There is some truth to what he says though...I'm a bit compulsive about things sometimes. And certainly if it was a Tron or a Zeke's Peak I would have not passed it on. But...normally I would have been on something like this fast so perhaps that's progress huh?

I actually sent you that email with confidence that you already knew about it and had already contacted them. You had beat me to it as I never heard back. I didn't feel any better today (being sick) so I figured to stop trying to get the game. If they didn't get back to me then I was fine not trying to pick it up. It seems like 15 mins from my house.

Yes, it's spoken for. Well, at least I passed on the contact info to someone who said he was going to go pick it up tonight. I have nothing to go on about the condition of the game but the seller seemed friendly enough on the phone and I don't think he can lose out too badly at $90. If nothing else, it's an adventure. And that's like 90% of it for me right there.

You are making good progress! Keep up the good work. I removed the CL app from my phone over the weekend. I am not really committed to not buying more games this year, but I don't have space for any right now. I am trying to get all of my games working, and it is a pain to work around too many games. I have to squeeze past the PP cockpit probably 20 times a day right now until the new owner picks it up.

And yes, I did think about trying to get the Pacman. I already have a cocktail, and I really don't play Pacman all that much, but yeah, it is hard to pass on good deals.

Just wanted to note here that I believe Darth_Plagueis and TapiocaFett are the same person. They both joined anonymously at the same time. They both have a low post count. They both are obsessed with SW. Both have SW related names and avatars. Both created VAPS accounts at the same time. Both VAPS accounts have only SW related items. They both have said nothing positive about anything. This person appears to be trolling and especially stalking Phet (he seems to collect people like that doesn't he).

No, they are not the same, however, there are two people who have two accounts and they need to make a choice pretty quickly which account to use.

Ok, thanks for checking into it. My apologies to TapiocaFett then. It was DP who has been hounding Phet and making the negative comments. The fact that they started at the same time and responded to each others posts is what led me to think they are the same but if you've checked it out I'll assume you have good reason for saying they aren't.
