I've bought several things from Bill Burger over the years..... the only transaction that really went south was a complete Grand Treasure Falls redemption game he sold me off Ebay. The listing said all was good with it. When it showed up here there were giant letters of graffiti etched into the front glass (with a diamond I guess). This nonetheless made the game ruined because you can't easily change the glass in a Five Star machine without destroying the unit. I was pissed.
I've said it before, and I'm sure I wills say it again. Screw Billy B.

I've had great luck buying non-pcb items from him.

That guy knows someone working at ebay. If I got screwed by the guy and ebay removed my negative feedback I'd be PISSSSSSED OFF...

No kidding.
80 items, at at least $10 an item is at least $800 in broken PCBs.
I'd have 30-60 minutes of negative feedback/piss and vinegar for over $800+ in broken PCBs.

That makes sense, he must know someone......
It is unfortunate for potential future buyers, for sure. It seems that many guys on here have never had an issue with him. However, there is clearly a consensus in this thread that this guy has a shady nature to him, and that alone should warrant apprehension. At least it certainly does for me.

I am not sure how "shady" he is... but I do know he seems to simply not give a damn what so ever. He packs REALLY bad... and if you have issues he doesn't give a damn at all, just blocks you.
I doubt he sells KNOWN BROKEN stuff as WORKING, but he does so little in the way of proper packing that the working stuff ends up breaking in shipping due to his incompetence in packing. That is when the fun starts.

I have bought from him maybe a handful of times, but it's usually stuff listed as not working or a Neo Geo Cart here and there.
Seeing how he packs stuff I would be terrified to buy any PCBs from him, it seems that he has that monkey from Pirates of the Carribean Boxing his stuff up for him, wait no scratch that, the monkey would have done a better job....

Well, I got the package delivered today. I ordered a lot that contained 2 trackballs and a wiring harness for a Centipede cocktail. It was fast shipping, but it was missing the the trackballs.
Could have been an honest mistake and I'm giving the benefit of the doubt, so I sent an email request they get sent.
As long as this gets taken care of, I have no issues...

Keep us updated! I looked at some of his recent negative feedback and it all points to his packing skills, and his retort generally every time is that the buyer is blackmailing him......
