In the guy's video you can see the backing says "3M SCPM-3". That's a current premask product that would be used today... was that available in the 80's? (I'm not a screen printer, so I honestly don't know the answer)

I think PhoenixArcade still has the @!#?@! marquees.
But he also made a short run of F*CK YOU! marquees. I don't believe that he has any of those left....
Ahhh yes... You're right. I probably should pony up the $$$$ and get a $(*$@%(* marquee.

yeah, hate to rain on that guys parade, but he has a late 90's Arcadeshop reproduction.

My marquee is in good shape, a little flaking, but what I want is a NOS control panel overlay. Anyone have one of those? None of the repos match the original enough for my taste. I also need the kick plate art, but the control panel is my first priority.

You are talking about the one with out the Midway logo? The one in the Video has the logo.

some were produced with the logo but after the twobits lawsuit, it was changed.
If you have a real Galaga marqurr around, puase the video at 44 - 49 seconds and compare the color grading on the green borders. Thats the dead give away.

Early Reproduction Marquee w/ "Midway" on it. I bought this new about a year or so ago... I bought two and used one on my 60 in 1 galaga and one on the 48 in 1 galaga I sold. I considered them "NOS REPRODUCTION". What you need to be careful is that early reproductions are getting up there in age and you need to be careful when you buy "NOS".

Here is my marquee which I believe to be original:
Control Panel (the operator covered up where the overlay was worn off with black paint - yuck)
Compared to the repro above, the blue is much deaper, also notice the shine on the aliens on the front is different between the two. And the serif font on the instructions screams at me.
And the kickplay art, quite worn, but it does not bother me as much as the control panel, go figure. The side art is in good shape and doesn't need to be replaced.

He isn't the only one that has one could of bought another for nothing when I got this one but I only needed the one.
And yes there is a lot of crap in my Garage.
Nice... but not NOS...
I managed to land one (Q-bert F-bomb) from Quarter Arcade here recently. Must have been the only one he had and the listing mentioned Arcade Renovations originally did the run. Now if I can only find a Q-bert to put it in...
