Thinking about selling my Creature from the Black Lagoon Pinball Machine...

Here's my delemla:

For me to get Rusty Quarters up and running I gotta raise a little bit more $$$ and even though I would hate to part with it, I might have to sell my CFTBL Pinball Machine. On a 10 point scale, I would say it's around 7.5-8.0 . Needs some lights replaced, some scratched on the speaker (drive-in car) plastic, and 2 plastic peices (decortive with fish and seaweed) need to be put back in (had a "professial" repair guy rip me off and forgot to put those peices back when putting in a new ramp). It has a repo hologram with no fading. The cabinet itself is in great contition, but the front cabinet sticker is a little faded, but I have a full cabinet art sticker set... Sorry, but no pics yet.

My question is do you think I could get atlest $2,500 (or more) for it? Like I said it's in really good condition but needs one or two things fixed for it to be back to 9.5.

I'm just curious at this point. I really don't want to sell it but $2,500 would help with me opening Rusty Quarters Retro Arcade & Museum... Your thoughts?

Sounds like a great price without seeing the pics.
Around here, unless it's priced at $1000, it'll sit for a while.

I would suggest finishing it up before selling. Would you buy it in it's current condition? If so, let it be.

Well, there have been a few CFTBL in this area recently around the 3k mark, not sure if they sold or not. I passed on one at $2500 but it was beat, I'd give it a low 7/10 condition.
I know space is an issue but you have to have room for ONE pinball in your arcade you are opening, why not pop it in your line up? I bet you would do alright with it earnings-wise.

wait a minute....
a 9.5 game needs to have a NOS playfield, new coin door, new ramp and a host of other things electronically including full flipper rebuilds, new coil sleeves and springs, new playfield posts, new screws/nuts..

9.5 is a strong number.

cftbl (fully working, no errors, no reset issues...fully shopped) sell in the $2300- $2800 range all pending condition. if u go by epay prices, remember to deduct the epay and paypal fees you would get hit with to find the actual sale net.

A few years ago you could get these unshopped for the asking price. Now you cant touch a nice CFTBL for less than 3K. Nice cosmetically "restorable" pins are getting more difficult to pick up. Replica ramps are so expensive. A nice hologram price are some of the highest selling parts in the pin world besides Whitewater toppers. Unless it's a ratty CFTBL think about it.

+1 to this. I'd say it's a $2900 - $3100 game as it sits.

I'll be taking pics for sale soon. I need to set it up (was in storage) but can't find the pinballs? I'm wondering if there plastic wrapped with the machine. I'm also looking for the new door that I have for a Ultraman pachinko machine... Just moved to a new place and got all of my toys outa 3 years of storage.
