This thing is a PIG in my little garcade, and it's running MAME. I never bother to power it up anymore because I don't play it alot, and it also takes 2 outlets to power it (1 for the monitor, and one for the PC).

I don't want to get rid of it completely just yet, because I know the minute I do, I will miss it (how messed up is that). So, I'm contemplating moving it out to the "shed of the dead" where my EK pin and vending machines currently sleep.

I think I will be happy once I've moved it out, just feeling guilty about doing so at the moment. :(

Why not get a cheapy 6 outlet surge protector and jam it inside the cabinet to solve the 2 outlet shenanigans?

And I know that feel man, but at least if you put in storage instead of selling it out you'll have the option of bringing it back

if its stored properly, then its ok to rotate it out imo. you may want it back in the cade' down the road. how does the mame setup sound and feel compared to the original?

The Monaco GP game itself isn't on MAME, i have it set up to play Pole Position

So i just aquired a Monaco Gp and the monitor is dead.. When i tried a replacement monitor the graphics were garbled. There are like 4 boards in this thing and a million wires, and i dont want to mess with getting it going. Can someone point me in the right direction to getting it set up to play mame racing games, or maybe just a jamma racing game?? Any good ideas? I have a couple of old throw down computers that i could mame..
