I think the real question is ...... have you actually played the game? I highly recommend against buying a pin off theme alone.
Also, how many pins do you currently own? Personally, I find the game mildly amusing but as a single machine would get stale very quickly.
Price wise - common in my area has been $1200 - $1500.

I may have to disagree ;)

.. actually I'd probably have to agree with Deadly. I played one and was unimpressed with it. There's one locally (new england) for $1400 on CL right now but honestly I'd look at spending $1400 on a better pin... And this is coming from a fan of the theme :D

lmao - nice!

I have played it and remember really liking it. Its been awhile though. It will not be my first pin I also have a Roadshow that I love! I just was wanting a fun pin that wont break the bank . I really want a AF or a Simpsons pinball party or a ATF but the prices are REDUNKULUSS. If anyone has some good suggestions for a fun pin for about a $1000 -1300 chime in I just dont know of many. I just recently passed up a Hook for $600 but feedback on here wasnt great . I live in the central FL area and am in the market. I would love to trade my minty outrun and cash for a fun pin. Thanks for all the input guys . PEACE!

Several other posts asking for recommendations in your dollar range.
But two I am rather fond of and are DMD games are Judge Dredd and World Cup Soccer 94. BOTH games can be had in your price range.

I can't stress enough that you seek these machines out locally and play them if possible. My cup of tea might not be yours.

wcs94 is general 1500 from what ive seen,

these pins are good pins with BAD movie themes

johhny n

judge dredd

demo man

there are others basically bad movies ussually made pretty good pins

is there a rocky & bullwinkle virtual table? if so, give that a try and see if you like it....it's not a 100% method, but it'll give you a good idea on the layout, types of shots, modes, sounds, etc.

judge dredd

Nope. Judge Dredd pre-dated the movie and uses the comic for inspiration. As a result the art package is great all around on this one.

I definitely agree that JD is a good pin. Just encountered it for the first time recently and was VERY impressed with how it played. The upper flippers are very well used.

But coming back to R&B. I personally think this is a great playing pin, and I typically dislike Data East games. I think it's definitely one of their best efforts. And the theme is well used to boot.
I think one could be had for about $1000; I know I've seen them sell around that in my area.

I have a R&B and I really enjoy it. I paid 1300.00 and I am fairly local to you, so that should be a good indicator on price. Mine is nice and working all the way ... you can find projects for less.

P.S. I'd let mine go for $1500.00. I only have room for two pins so any chance to rotate them out is a good thing.

i have played a rocky and bullwinkle and really liked it. its colorful and alot of fun but the backglasses have a common rub area on bullwinkles nose. they go for around 1300-1500 near me. i have been wanting to find an unshopped one for 800ish and havent had much luck. i have heard too many time that World cup 94 is a great game. my personal favorite "BAD MOVIE GREAT PINBALL" is twister and they arent much money!! i sunk many quarters in that when it was on location.

Was looking at this myself, but not ready to pull the trigger on it. Too bad it's not closer to you. http://joplin.craigslist.org/vgm/2103341776.html I use to play Rocky and Bullwinkle back in the 90's and it was a fun game. I would not get it as my only pin, but fun. Especially if you are familiar with the cartoon. Great art work and a family friendly pin.

militia how about 800 and a sweet standup outrun . I can do that and deliver. what do you think.

I would only trade this for another pin, but thanks for the offer.

I do love Outrun. I have owned it three times - two uprights and one full motion sitdown. That sucker was HEAVY!

I was over at Darren's place last night and saw your Outrun! You are right. It was sweet. I can't believe how nice that sideart stayed after all these years. And the best part is that the steering wheel cap was still in place. I have owned several Outruns over the years and NONE of them still had the steering wheel center cap!

He mentioned you had a Road Show. Any interest in trading that?

I told ya it was cherry !! I cant let go of the Roadshow I love it to much . I am planning on buying a R&B this weekend . I am currently looking for a nell motor assembly and speaker grills. If you know where i can find anything let me know .Thanks!!

I wanted a R&B for a long time, until I finally played it....bummer. It's a little loud and obnoxious honestly, just a little over the top with everything coming out of the speakers. My main problem with the game though is the shallow ruleset, I could live with the sound if the ruleset was better, but it's not. I still would buy one though if it's cheap enough, just love the theme.
