So I am very blessed to have a 15 x 30 arcade with a nice mix of games....I have been trying to complete a pacman collection for a while now but im missing two titles(professor pac and pacmania)... I have an empty room on the back side of the 15 x 30 room that is 15x12 that was gonna be the pacroom....
Since I seem to have come up with a bunch of atari games lately Im thinkin of just makin an atari only room with the following games(Asteroids deluxe, Centipede, crystal castles, Dig dug, Vindicators, super sprint, paperboy, Indiana Jones, and coming very soon 720....)oh and my tempest(needs a couple repairs first)
Whats ur thoughts, cool paint in the room some sweet carpet and some atari signs this could be bad ass.......
Should I give up on the pac collection????Its not like this has never been done before....I used to work for Namco and this was a dream of mine..Since we parted ways and they are a bunch of aholes this means alot less to me now....
Btw 5 of the atari games are in the big room and would make room for 5 diff games( curr workin on a multi williams and have a 60 in 1.. what would 3 good replacements be???

Is toobin really that fun? I keep hearing its name whispered here and there...what is so great about it :p

OT: An Atari room would be a lot better IMO, the whole pac genre is kind of boring for me....not THAT much difference between them all. Variety ftw!

it's one of my faves, so I'm biased, but.. It just has a lot going on, and you can't get the controls and feel with MAME and a keyboard, although it's all buttons.

I tried Food fight on mame and didnt like it much..Is it that much better on the original cab???? I know this game has a huge following.

A Star Wars is a must for the Atari room. Sounds like you covered the other bases, Centipede, Dig Dug, Asteroids Deluxe, and Tempest. Although, I would also think BattleZone should be there too. :) For the record, all of these games are in my Atari collection. :)

I used to know a guy that had 2 of the 5 foot long atari banners they had at repair shops back in the day. From what he said they were pretty rare, finding one of those for the atari room would be a must.

720°
Asteroids Deluxe
Black Widow
Centipede
Food Fight
Lunar Lander
Missile Command
Paperboy
Tempest
Warlords Cocktail

That would be my Atari arcade top 10.

All other vectors would be icing on the cake.

Namco licensed doesn't really count to me.

Edit* I would also put that phetishboy sign in it as well—love it

Most All games are better on the original board set! :)

Anyways.. My Top 10 atari row would be..

Empire Strikes Back cockpit
Marble Madness/ Roadrunner
Paperboy/championship sprint
Food Fight (almost have one!)
Toobin' (got it)
Warlords Cocktail
Cyber Sled cockpit
Rampart 3 player
Space Duel

Rare atari games..
