Not sure if this has been posted before but, I was wondering about what other people have found in cabs that they have bought.

I just bought my first 2 games. One of the coin slots had a quarter stuck in it. I tore it apart and out fell 4.50$ in change.

I also found giant piles of mouse crap inside the marquee. Glad I didn't take the game upstairs until cleaning it out first.

both of those things (coins and mouse crap) are pretty common finds in old cabinets.

i'm sure someone else can point to the threads of the more "interesting" finds people have made over the years...

...this never gets old...

In one recent haul of games that ArcRevival and myself picked up, we found, 2 dead kittens, a dead rat, various dead birds, and a gazillion wasps and spiders that were unfortunately still alive. Good times.
I think we found about $2.75 in quarters also.

I posted this in another thread, but I heard about someone finding a dead cat and her dead kittens in a Timber machine once. :(

Oh - and pee in the coin box of a Return of the Jedi.

When I bought my Asteroids this year, the coin box had a padlock on it. $15 worth of quarters inside, none of `em newer than 1990.

Found!

Had about $100 in quarters in a Centipede upright I won at a Public Storage auction in 2002...that was pretty cool

Also, had 10 boxes of unused, un-opened condoms in a Phoenix upright I picked up two years ago...some ex-wife was selling it after she kicked her ex-husband out of the house. Hmmmm..wonder WHY she kicked him out and he became her EX-husband! Seriously...10 boxes of condoms..jeez! LOL

True

Lots and lots of popcorn in my Asteroids... and a Mouse House in my Dig Dug up by the marquee light..

otherwise all pleasant things..

i found a slim jim that expired back in '91. it still looked edible. i think i still have it somewhere.

$35.00 in quarters inside a game I gave $150.00 for.

i found a complete paintball gun ( with a full co2 canister ) inside a pin that i won at an auction.

got rid of the pin but still have the gun....lol

Found $63 worth of dimes in a gumball machine I bought for $7. Most of the dimes were pre 1964.
