Depending on your amount of patience and/or luck you have gotten yourself into a very rewarding project or one of the biggest headaches you've probably faced yet. Hey at least they look pretty cool. It'll be a sweet pin if you can get one working.

I had to look at where you were. A couple years ago our shop gave away two Firepower projects to someone here....

Did they take an offer lower than the original $600?

No, but I figured if worse came to worse, I wouldnt have too much of a problem pawning them off on someone else at $300 each. I am comfortable with my purchase. Although youll be seeing a lot of posts from me in the help/repair forums ;)

I plan to get at least 1 working to keep if possible, then sell the other one, whole or otherwise.

This just in, 1 of them WORKS!! :D :D All coils are good, I just have no sound and no auxiliary lights. Working on that. But it plays just fine and all displays work!

I have sound!!! I forgot to plug in the sound board when I put the backbox on. :p I am enthralled! now all I need is the auxiliary lights and I have a perfectly working Firepower. Haha!!

Ok totally an awesome score!!! Now you have one to sell or part out. And you will have a working Firepower for $300 or less!

drew..i see the license plate and am wondering... WHERE'S MY ONE!?? ;) I see you have your 2.

Congrats on a killer score (imho)... as it happens to be my grail of pins. Bah..you people out west..always gettin the good scores...

Damn, never even saw those. Nice score. Since you are so tight on space, I can store the working one for you. :)

Might have to work out a trade on the other one.

After many trials, tribulations, finger pinching and smacking-of-the-head-under-the-playfield, I now have 1 fully working, beautiful Williams Firepower. The other, umm, not so much. But this one turned out nice. It still needs a paint detailing and a spot cleaning, but I am having a blast right now. I will also be swapping out the coin doors with the better of the two. This one is pretty thrashed.

More pics. All original manuals. Came with a bunch of extra parts also. I might even be able to get the second one working, but the MPU board looks heavily corroded.

Yea, they were from Tom from Computer Extreme/The Pinball Shop. I was bopping around town looking for a PC monitor and just happened upon his little shop. He said they had been sitting for five years without being touched. He also had A protototype, regular, and brand-new-still-in-crate Williams Indiana Jones, 2 Bally Playboys + a NOS crated playfield, Farfalla, Fun House, Silverball Mania, and 2 Addams Families (I think). He wanted gold for those, but I am happy with my deal.
