If you have read some of my previous threads, This month has been good to me. First I picked up a $50 Defender, then just yesterday I picked up an amazing Space Invaders (Import) and a minty Pac-Man man for next to nothing.

Would you think I just got another pretty damn good deal off of CL?

Karate Master,Commando,Area 51,Spyhunter,Road Blasters,Capcom Fighting. All 6 for $1,200 (An average of $200 per cab). SOLD and deposit sent. All cabs are in excellent condition and the spy hunter (The one I really want) is near mint. I will probably be taking this road trip with one of my arcade buddies. They are located in Albany. I might be flipping most of them with the exeption of Spy Hunter. Anyone interested in any of the other cabs? I cannot commit yet, but just in case I do decide to flip them, you guys would be first on my list.

Let me know what you would want and what would be a fair price for that cab.

My wife was pissed about my road trip yesterday. Now we are going to get into a fight. I can feel it!

You've got some good deals for sure. I am always hesitant to let my wife in on the games and parts I've purchased. Sometimes she doesn't care and other times it's "fight night". I have kept a few games at my friends house and bring them home at the "right time". Good luck on the road trip - Barry

I am thinking about doing that but I cannot disappear for an entire day without telling her where I am going.

How do you know they are in excellent / near mint condition when the pic doesn't even show any of the games he is selling?

The games aren't in your posession yet and there's nothing stopping that seller from backing out. Good luck does end - and when it does it kicks you square in the nads.
If you haven't figured it out yet, all it takes is one person to offer them more money and pick it up sooner and your hopes are crushed. And better yet you show up and the seller will hand you your money back and say, "Sorry they sold yesterday." While there are a SMALL handful of decent people left - most people would sell their own mother for a buck. I wouldn't sit there and dilly dally - you better get on the road and pick them up.

Trust me - I've had two "Done deal" deals just yanked out from underneath me. People are flakes and inconsiderate.
We no longer live in a world where a hand shake and verbal agreement mean anything.

I live pretty close to this guy. He actually tried to sell these on CL last year.

I think I'll go over and offer more and screw up the deal. Ha Ha only kidding!

That's alot of cash to get one good game (maybe two with Area 51). It would have been better if he threw in either Ms Pac-Man or Galaga in place of a couple of the whatever games.

I asked him if he was selling those and he said he wasn't.

Anyway, since you will be close to me perhaps you might be interested in something I have. I'll PM you my list.

Steve
