Hi, looking for recommendations on a thermal camera, primary use will be for board repair, but will also likely use it for various tasks around the house.

FLIR ONE Gen 3 is currently $229 on Amazon, which interfaces with a smart phone, but never having used one, I'm concerned the 80x60 sensor will be too small for getting good enough resolution out of the pics it will generate. The FLIR One PRO is $450 which ups the sensor to 160x120 but looks like it has lower sensitivity, all other listed specs the same except physical dimensions. (Edit: looks like the PRO also has a much higher dynamic range on further review)

(Granted these are marketing specs found on Amazon, so I'm assuming there's a grain of salt to be taken here)

So I'm not sure if the increased cost is worth it, or if there's better options out there I'm not aware of. I'd rather not spend over $300 if I can help it as I'm concerned about how often I'll actually use it. Any input or guidance would be helpful, thanks!
