The YouTube Channel nobody asked for......VHS Arcade Vault

What I really want to know is if SEGA got permission to use these sounds or if they just went for it fingers crossed?

Yeah it's tricky without a brake pedal. You can use the edge of the track to scrub speed but you can also just stop a little past the 7-11 and then take off later. If you're s little past the sign take off at 58 further past the sign take off at 59 or 60. Takes a bit to get it figured out. The explosion at the end of the race is related to how much time you spend in turbo. The best way to get into turbo is to keep the gas fully down without lifting and after 3-4 turns you'll go into turbo mode. You can also do a trick where you run off the track and it will put you in turbo mode. But the thing to remember during a race is when you start a race the cars are locked into their lane. They will stay in the same spot until you go off the track. Slip your wheels off the track and the computer cars will start switching lanes.

I'm not exactly sure on the amount of time you have to spend in turbo or if you just have to cross the finish line in turbo. But that's what triggers the explosion and it's really a great animation too.

And I totally agree I can play pole position just about any time where other games I have to be in the mood for them.
@Motoman202 Can you expand on how you get into turbo mode by running off the track? All these tricks are new to me and awesome to learn thanks!

Tell me this movie title doesn't give you serious 720 vibes.

Let's get some stitches and some new games.

I myself had a couple of nice pickups this week, totaling 4 complete games, 2 monitors, 2 spare tubes, 13 chassis, and assorted extra parts... but I'm STILL jealous of this BurgerTime... sorry about the stitches though!
