The WACKOFF at Grinkfest 2018 - a special single game side tournament
In the grand tradition of the annual "Kong Off", Arcade Hangout and Grinkers Grand Palace presents the first WACKOFF, only at Grinkfest 6 / Grinkers Grand Palace October 13th, 2018!
This will be a completely optional side tournament at Grinkfest this year. We are going to try something a little different with this than past tournaments at Grinkers. Because of some of the special things we want to give away with this tournament, there will be a $30 entry fee.
All of the money for this tournament will go towards gifts and prizes for players.
Everyone who pre-registers will receive a one-of-a-kind limited edition t-shirt. These will be full color shirts so they will be much more expensive than what we have done in the past. Because of this, we can only promise to print enough shirts for pre-registrants in the sizes they request.
We also plan on producing other items with the WACKOFF logo on them, but this will depend greatly on the number of pre-registrants we get.
Grinfest attendees who do not pre-register can register at Grinkers, but they will not get one of the limited edition t-shirts!
If there is any money left over after buying materials for the tournament, it will be put into a prize pool for the top scoring players.
This tournament is a very special one for me. First, I love this game. Second, people seem to like it because of the unusual cabinet, but the game is really a lot of fun. Third, I desperately want this shirt! As in events past, I will be donating the custom artwork which will be printed by our long time sponsor, ThisOldGame.
