The Video Craze (short doc, mock up)

Nice Job, but you need a star going for a record like all the other docs.:) You should cover the entire hobby like a guy getting his first game, maybe some auction footage, you know let people know where to find the games, then maybe go into explaining sites like klov, etc. where they can get info/support.

Yeah i know, this is all very new, and all the footage i have at this point. so as i get more coverage and footage of events i will definetly tie that in. good advice, thank you. I am mostly doing this for fun, really for myself, but.. you never know what will happen.

Since CAX is just around the corner, i wanted to see if there is anyone here interested in a short interview at the show? trying to fill in some spots for the documentary. just let me know, i would love to get a variety of people.

I'm down. You want me to be a 'character' of any sort? :D

Cool work so far. Looking forward to seeing more!

If I'm at CAX, it'll be because I have something special to unveil. So yeah, by all means, interview me. (if I'm there)

UPDATE: Well, It's been tuff doing this on my own, so I guess it's moving very slow.
I might be done just after the next CAX event, and call it a done deal.
I am no movie producer, lol.

I was hoping to get a few more interviews, but watching my son takes a lot of work as it is.
Plus I am no story teller, so it's pretty much a collage of interviews and events throught the last 2 years. I wish I had some time to make it a little better, just not in the cards.

I will keep you updated more on this as I reach closer to the end.

Also if anyone is interested I will make dvd copies with case and sleeve art for $15.00 each

Cheers,
Dave

almost forgot......

if you guys want to do any self interviews of your arcades or workshops, please do it !!
I would love to incorporate more people from Klov.
just send me the files.

Hey David,

Dude this is so damn awesome. I just saw this thread and WOW great job man and yes Id be in for one of them DVD's when ya get it all done....Jake

Awesome guys ;)

I already got a few inquires for some self interviews.
That would help it a great deal ;)

How are you doing Jake?

What kind of stuff are you wanting for video? Just a self interview? Or do you want some other type of footage? What kind of criteria should a person have to be included?

Sean,

A self interview of yourself would be fine, how you got started into collecting....
What also would be nice since you just wrote a book, hehe... you could kinda go through that also. Keep in mind this video is clearly for us collectors here on klov, it is not going public.
I am not that cool ;)

I have Gregatron, and rich from ThisOldGame.com on board for interviews later to incorporate.

thank's guys for your help, I need it.

What format do you prefer the video to be in? Size/pixels/framerate, etc? Or is video, video? I honestly have no idea, other than a video shot from a crappy cellphone would probably suck.

I am interested. Deadline?

Oh, and... I think you/we should come up with like 10 questions for everyone to answer... I'm not that great at rambling unless I have something to bounce off of, if you know what I mean...
