The Video Craze (new site up)

Dude..as long as you can fit my 2nd and 3rd chin in the camera angle I'm good. Hopefully your viewers don't come away thinking I'm some NOS OCD condition freak, which of course I am ;) Heheh. But you know my current digs, where my games are housed... I suppose I can demonstrate the "grunge" factor of gameroom collecting, lol.

Anyway I wanted to let you all know that I am going to California Extreme again this year looking for more footage to film and document. Very interesting. May I make a couple of suggestions? That front page thing that moves back and forth quickly - gads. Nearly gave me a headache. Please don't do that to me.

Second, your trailer is kinda neat. Except that it's 2 minutes of credits and 1 minute of actual trailer. If you're trying to draw people in, you need to fix that. 1 minute of trailer and 30 seconds of credits is probably more appropriate.

Also, at 1:01 it says 'A vectorinvader production presents', which doesn't sound right.

I'm looking forward to seeing it when done!

It bothered me also, so I changed it :) moved it to a different page.

Watched both vids and I can't wait! Its great so far!

All I have to say is don't forget the little guys with 1 or 2 games, and their reasons for owning them.

I think sometimes we forget the magic that each individual game brings when our collections/gamerooms get to big.

Oh and yeah, I threw on some red/blue 3d glasses for the website title screen.

I agree with you there on the little ones, I myself have a small collection. Gotta try the 3d glasses now, lol !
 
Ok I need a little assistance with a sub title for the Video Craze, right now it is " where were you in '82"

Someone suggested "Through the eyes of a arcade collector"

Any of you have suggestions for a sub title? This is a film about us collectors, and what we do to preserve it, and how we have fun with it all.

"Where were you in 82" is a question. You might want to make it say "Where were you in 82?"

Otherwise, it looks pretty good. Also, it would appear that you used a "Binaural" microphone set for the sound effects for the games? If so, then that is AWESOME. Even though I was listening to it through my PC speakers, I could tell...
