We all know the rare games, but...based on your experience, what are the top five most common games you've come across?

:D

Multicades
Asteroids
Ms Pac Man (in all sorts of cabinets)
90s games

Can't really nail it down better than that, as I had never really put much thought into it. There is always an Asteroids for sale in the area (maybe not at a price any of us would pay... but there is always one for sale). Ms Pac is very frequent, and then a variety of stuff from the 90s. I don't follow that generation of games much, so the titles don't stick in my head enough to determine which of those show up more often.

Multicades are the monochromatic cars of our roadways.... with the splashes of color (original games) that occasionally go by. (black, white, silver... covers over 90-95% of all cars you'll drive by.... if you have one, your driving the multicade of the roadway :) ).

Top five most common?

  1. 60-in-1 bastardized conversions - poor condition / overpriced
  2. 60-in-1 bastardized conversions - good condition / restorable
  3. 60-in-1 bastardized conversions - with LCD
  4. 60-in-1 bastardized conversions - with CRT
  5. 60-in-1 bastardized conversions - in rotted cabinet with mouse poop; no extra charge
Sure do wish, however, that a nice classic like DK was more common up here. But it ain't. :(

60 in 1s
Over priced 1970's pinball games
Ms Pacman
Deer hunter
Golden Tee

Welcome to the Arcade Void of Alabama!

Asteroids. So many Asteroids...
Centipede
Pole Position
Outrun
Galaga (usually Galag bootlegs though)

Asteroids
Defender
Afterburner
Super Offroad
Centipede

These are the ones I have seen multiples of here in Reno over the years.

You have to put Street Fighter II on the list. I have seen (and bought) so many in LA. Most of them are in Dynamo cabs, but that game was so popular out here they dropped it in all kinds of cabs - a while back I almost bought a Super Pacman cab with SFIICE in it!

A beater defender is pretty common...usually broken or in parts or mangled in some way.

A working nice defender is another story, dont seem to exist.

From the perspective of the games I had to dispose of over the last 2 years:
(pretty much all conversions)
Dynamo cabs
Taito GTC-100 cabs
Defender cabs
Stern cabs
Centuri cabs (both the type A and the T&F style)

from a collector standpoint, seeing 22+ Tron's stacked up, uncounted Ms. Pac cabs and a row of 11 Crossbow cabs.....
