I figured why not.

Been playing the Super Mario Allstars for snes like crazy. also world.

Lost levels. Never played untill the other day, its so awesome cause its a whole mario game that I never played or beat. Talk about bringing back the fustration. Awesome game. also the hidden worlds. 5 of them. jeez. Cant wait to get em.

Whats your favorite super mario?

I think my favorite is Super Mario World. When it came out on the GBA, I went through it three times in a row (once on each file) and completed every level, including the special ones.

Ever seen the game after all the levels are beat? it changes...

Super Mario Bros. 3 is a close second.

Super Mario 3 did it for me.

Then Super Mario World SNES

Super Mario Bros.

All others bored and frustrated me when they deviated from the standard side-scrolling style.

A couple months ago I ran through super Mario world completely. All 96 plus star road and special. The game is cool with the new enemies after that.

Has anyone gotten to world 9 on the lost levels. Then world a b c and d?

Did that when I was like 12. ;)

I kid. I kid. But seriously, it always pissed me off that they didn't make 100 stages (or stars) that you could master in SMW for snes. Like 96? Really that's the number you guys ended with? It always made me think that there was 4 more stages somewhere that I had missed.

I've probably played Super Mario 64 the most. I used to get all the stars and then delete my save file pretty regularly with that one. That and the original SMB.

Played the hell out of SMB when I was a kid, then did the same with SMB3 and SMW. I think SMW was probably my favorite and most replayed, though it may have really been 3, which I think I completed more times.

I agree.

1. Super Mario Bros. 3
Iconic yellow box. Cartoon titled "Super Mario Bros. 3." Preview in The Wizard. Remixed songs in later Mario games. The list goes on and on. I mean, aside from the impact it has had on pop culture and Nintendo, it's just an all around perfect Mario game.

2. Super Mario World
This game blew my mind and to have it as one of the launch titles was so sweet. Great game play, deep levels/worlds, memorable soundtrack (my wife has Map 1 as her ringtone), etc.

3. Super Mario Bros.
Legendary.
