The "Start of Laser Disc Games" News Story...

Saw this and thought I would share. When I was 13 years old, I would have LOVED to have seen this on TV! Whenever I see Rick Dyer interviewed (as in this video), it makes me wonder how on earth these people were able to actually get this stuff to market. His "grand vision" of what he was doing far exceeded what was possible...

And Yes, I know that I did not follow the "official" method for posting youtube videos, but I have tried everything and have NOT been able to get them embedded per the instructions in the sticky...

See the link above? Notice the part after the "=" sign? Take that info (Xhzg7NiTXkk) and stick it between {youtube} and {/youtube} (using regular BRACKETS instead)....

Make sure the string you stick between YOUTUBE and /YOUTUBE is NOT an actual link or it won't work.

That was filmed in the Westwood Arcade near the UCLA campus, which is arguably one of the most famous arcades of all time. Gary Coleman, Michael Jackson, Steven Speilberg, Nicolas Cage and many other celebrities were regulars there over the years.

Sadly, the arcade closed about 2 years ago. That place was totally dead the last few years of it's existence...they tried everything to keep it open.

All that is left now is the coin changing booth and the coin changers. They have never found another tenant for that space.
