well, it is delivered. left the house around 11 monday and made it to aspen about 4:00. cloudy and ok in denver, but snowy enough in the mountains to delay our travel time a bit. made it to grand junction and met jawhn about 11:30 on tuesday morning, and we grabbed a late brunch, loaded the beast in his truck, and off he went. i must say, he has some crazy packing-fu. that thing got packed so well and tight that looking at his truck, if i drove by him i would've thought he was either transporting illegals, illegal guns, or a shitload of coke.

oddly enough, had one weird question about the game. we stopped in georgetown on the way up to use the facilities, and this older lady came out as we were getting back in and goes "is that a big dollhouse in the back? some kid's gonna have a bunch of fun." told her nope, it's an arcade game, and she just kinda shrugged and got in her car.

made it through vail pass, with only one lane open mostly and a few spun out cars stuck in the snow.

finally back and tired, after all the driving. for some reason, it was just putting me to sleep. oh, and jawhn, they had a few hi powers at cabelas. you missed a decent selection of firearms.

Oh, cool. Well, I posted them in my "I finally got my grail/Space Wars" thread... And I have 100 pics on my Facebook, if people are friends with me on there...

Man, you weren't kidding about how much snow you went through. Lordy!

Thanks again, Jim! Couldn't have done this without you, for sure! I was able to unload the game and get it into my house by myself when I got home, but man alive, that is a beast of a heavy cab!!! I've been 'working' on her all day, got the missing feet/leg levelers on, did some touch-up paint and shop-vac'ing some spiderwebs out, got both coin mechs working... Little stuff, but fun stuff.

(TWSS)

glad to help. i was expecting you were going to unload it on your own. i didn't think you'd wait, that is that the want to play would get the best of you. saw the pics on the clamping. did you use any of the wood hardener as well to harden up the stuff at the bottom on the right side?

That's what sh... Aw, nevermind.

I mixed some Elmers wood glue and water together, pressed into into all the particle board mess, and then clamped the hell out of it, and it seemed to clean up pretty well. I don't know when/if I will ever get around to a Phetty-level resto, probably never, but at the moment, I consider it arcade-worthy. I just got done painting in the missing graphic on the left side, where the vinyl sideart was torn. It's not super-beautiful, but looks 100% better. A little cleanup, and you'd never know. And the space where this will go, the sideart won't be visible anyways... But I still had to complete the sideart a little.

Now - to widen the arcade and hallway door! I may just completely remove the hallway door, don't really understand the need for one.
