So, I bought this simpsons cabinet and the side vinyl needs replacing, and the marquee is very yellow and had some cracks in it. Anyone know a good place to get these items, or are they even available?

The front wood panel that the coin slots are in is cracked, and a chunk is broken off at the base. I thought I might just be able to put a metal kick panel over it, but how complicated might it be to replace the entire wood panel?

The joystick for bart functions, but it's worn out. Is there a way to rebuild it or just replace the rubber without buying a complete joystick assembly?

side art is gonna costs you around $200 for reproduction work:

The Marquee about $20

you should try to find some NOS (New Old Stock) artwork off ebay or make a post on here looking for it. Some of these guys may have what you need.

let's see some pictures of your cab too so we can see the damage and recommend how to fix. I recommend bondo. you can pretty much fix anything with bondo, rebuild corners and missing pieces even.

as for joysticks, and buttons I just completely remove them and buy new sanwa obsf30 buttons, and Sanwa JLW joysticks. but that's just me.

Looks like bondo would do the trick for the front. Seeing I only paid $250 for the machine, it hardly seems worth buying $200 side art.

Simpsons

Here is a lnk to the Simpsons resto I am helping my friend and fellow KLOV'er with...SAVE THAT CAB!!! Simpsons is an awesome game and they clean up realllly nice....

The hole in the kickplate should be pretty easy to fix...If you are good with woodworking it shouldnt be too hard to replace the front panel. Otherwise put a thin piece of wood behind the hole and build it up with bondo...If you dont want to leave the piece of the wood attached to the inside of the game, you could probably put like aluminum foil or something on the wood and then when the bondo dries, just remove the wood...then sand and paint with SEMI-GLOSS black paint...and BAM. All set.

MAMEMarquees is probably your best bet for sideart and marquee...the guy that runs it is a fellow KLOV'er as well
