The Simpsons is different in Japan?!

Now the question, can I load the Japanese version on to my North American PCB... or better yet, if it is possible how could i go about making it so i could simply switch between each version? Stacking chips and using a selection switch maybe?

Interesting for sure. Just seems they made it easier to score and retain health throughout the game.

Wow those are some pretty cool differences, I like the extra health stuff especially. Almost worth having a dedicated board just for the Japanese version.

Burn the 4 program roms to double size eproms (27c020) - NA version in low half, Japanese in top. Then just a switch/resistor to control the top address line. You'd need to re-initialise the eeprom every time you switched region though (test menu button).
