The search for a replacement tube for my DK Sanyo 20EZ
I'm continuing the discussion form this thread:
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=390834
as it relates to the technical aspect of TV's I'm picking up for free, with the ultimate goal of finding a tube that will work for a tube swap, either as a direct replacement, or with a yoke swap (Sanyo 20EZ yoke to a new tube).
I picked up my second TV today. G1, heater voltage and the neck pinout are correct (CR-23). Horizontal resistance measures at 2.8 ohms. All that is great, was starting to get excited. Vertical resistance measures at 18 ohms.
The sanyo 20EZ is supposed to be in the ballpark of 55 ohms, for vertical resistance. So, I assume that's a deal breaker?
Now, if the tube physically fits in place of the original sanyo 20ez tube, is there any reason the tube couldn't be a candidate for a yoke swap?
