OK, What was the rarest game you've come by or best offer that you didn't buy or someone got before you.We have all had our regrets.

Wasn't really rare but I had to chance to buy a Working Taito Crazy Climber for $150.00 in the mid 90's but I was poor and missed out. For the pin enthusiasts a '82 Gottlieb Spirit with minimal wear but it was non working. Don't know the price but it would've been cheap since he wanted to get rid of it and it was always crapping out......:(

was on curb I drove there. some guys hanging outside said somone just walking in the area (lots of trash day diggers round here.) stopped looked at it called a riend and bam was gone.. by about 5 min..

An X Files pinball machine in gorgeous condition for under 5. Friend of the family needed money. Problem was so did we so we didn't buy it.

EDIT: Sorry haven't missed out on any rare games cause I haven't found any! ;)

wow, Sound like a good price esp. working. I bough mine for $200 (plays blind) But the cab was in amazing shape!

not really rare, put i had to bail on a great deal for a battlezone project because i was totally tapped on space. I think the game is now at superbee's place. :(

I recently missed out on a working Final Furlong for $100. The seller decided to play the CL auction game, didnt want any part of it after that.

Dedicated Major Havoc for $200. Guy posted the wrong friggin phone number on CL. Raven got to it before I did. Turned it for a nice chunk of change. I couldn't afford it when he flipped it.

Nitchibutsu Crazy Climber mini (no, not the Taito version). It is the only one I have ever seen (in person), was original and dedicated. It could have been mine for a few bills.

Beautiful Star Castle. 1997... heard about some 'video machines' on a radio classifieds show... went out in the country, about 25 miles from Jacksonville Fl, to a single wide mobile home and they had a nice DK and a Star Castle. I got the DK for $75 but turned down the Star Castle (even when they offered it to me for $40) because I didn't have any other games and I had never played SC before. I knew nothing. I have had several since then but none were that nice, or that cheap. I hope it found a good home.

Missed out on a FREE non-working Star Wars upright... that I ended up paying $300 and a Primal Rage cab for 2 weeks later...

Missed out on a $500 Data East Star Wars pinball machine...
