The Pong Clone Thread

Worked on one of the National Computer Systems ones a couple years ago. For kicks I posted to a CRT group on facebook and all the kiddos blasted me for "hacking" a perfectly good black and white tv into it :LOL:. For the record it was dirty pots and a bad coin switch or something like that, the tv was fine.

Probably the most recognized arcade game in the history of arcade games!

Atari Pong! The game that spawned a thousand clones...or so it seems.

Let this be a repository for any and all Atari Pong Clone pics and info!

Post up pics of your Pong clone or any other relative info and links.

Thanks!

Hey guys, I posted earlier in this thread with pics of my 4 player machine and an overview of the paper work. I ran across the folder today while looking fir some parts. I can provide closer or better images if someone needs them, Such as the one sheet schematic.

just to recap, I bought this from the original owner for $76 Bucks. Came with all this original paperwork, a rare find.

That is simply awesome documentation.

Got one! I know free play is not an option, but is there a trick to make it so I don't have to point quarters in every time?
Also are these start buttons supposed to light up?... Is there a bulb in there?

What is that thing? Do you have a manual for it yet? There are many options for avoiding quarters but we'll need to know more about it.

Oh bummer I know very little. No manual. 4 player pong with hockey and tennis versions. I was hoping that since all these knock offs seem similar that there was a relatively standard way that you guys made yours free play.
I will look around for distinguishing features or lables and see if I can find out what it is.

Oh man. You have a super rare one!

P.G.I = Pro Games International

They have one game in the KLOV database and yours isn't it sadly. At least it a place to start your search for information.

Super rare!? Awesome! Ya that one in the link is tennis and soccer, mine supposedly is tennis and hockey, but I think the exact same premise.
