This STTNG is kicking my ass. I've gotten two cuts that are bleeders, several smashed fingers, and busted the crap out of my knuckles when I really got pissed off. :p My back and feet are killing me from standing up working on it and the constant up-down-up-down of moving the playfield to adjust the flippers. Been working on it for almost two days straight...haven't really done anything else except some small errands here or there. =\

I've got about 25 minutes more of work to do, then this effer is CLEAN and shopped, double rainbow, all the way across the sky.

Son of a bitch. There is a star post at the Roght outlane that goes under two ramps and a plastic. Forgot to put it in. EPIC DIFFICULTY ENABLED. Even with the extended lane guide if it goes anywhere on the right side like that, it's gone.

Besides pinching my fingers in the playfield when testing my f14 out without the glass the ball went to go down the left outlane. I just got the game and didn't know I had a ball save. I went to grab the ball to save it and the solenoid pinched my finger in between it and the ball on my nail.

From experience...

Don't drop a soldering iron on your lap, even if you do get lucky and it only hits your thigh.

Don't walk barefoot in a room that may have trimmed off resistor/diode legs in the carpet.

Don't rub your eyes if you've got still-wet super glue on your finger.

Don't wear flip-flops when soldering directly above. Solder is like flaming meteor balls to your toes.

I still have the scab fromdriving the point of my soldering iron straight into the palm of my hand. Good stuff.

Hell, you saw the burn on my hand at the auction, lol.

STTNG is DONE man. The only thing I could possibly do to it at this point would be to buy a new translite and head decals....I guess technically I COULD do a flipper rebuild, but they're plenty damn snappy and work great. I thought it was playing good before, but with 3.5 inch rubber on the slings instead of the looser 4 inch, and the playfield clean and waxed? Bloody hell. Even WITH the lane extenders....so many drains LOL.
