So I saw a game for sale that has the Pac Man 4 in 1 on it- Pac, Pac (fast), Ms. Pac, Ms. Pac (fast).

Who has this and wants to tell me about it. I like my stuff dedicated but this is looking for a nice option for when others are over.

sounds like a kit Mark Spaeth once made before his 6 pac. basically a pac/ms pac board with a small daughter board that holds two toggle switches. One switch determines weather you are playing pac or ms pac the other changes between fast or normal speed. I believe the original pac ms pac roms are removed from the board and a small add on board (or two?) connect to the main board. This add on must have the pac ms pac rom info. That's what I remember of Mark's version. Not sure if the one you are looking at is his or someone elses version.

Its either the old version which is switched with toggle switches or the one Jason did (souzaonline.com) that is menu based.
I have done a bunch of boards with Jasons mod and its real nice. The newest version saves high scores on NVram but you will need a ram adapter pcb. I did two 4-1's this week.
Marks 6pac is basically the same but also has pac plus and is plug n play. The 4-1 is not hard to install but it does take some time. After you have done a couple it goes much quicker and cleaner.

Well here's the deal.. I got a 2nd Ms. Pac a few weeks ago for next to nothing, it just needs a tube (I still can't believe I have 2, when I had a devil of a time getting the first one!). I was going to sell it, but the cab looks like the one in the auction, which is diff from how my other one looks. I've been kicking around the idea of setting this one up with something like this 4-in-1/6-in-1 so it would basically be different from the one I already have.

Btw Jason, the new version is really nice. Its cool to be able to change dips on the menu and not have to pull the game away from the wall to get the back door off.
