so i'm at this local mini-golf/go kart/arcade establishment last night for some summer fun (which was incedently formerly owned by a friend of mine) and what do my wondering eyes appear? an utracade. but the ones i usually see have one or two cool titles. this had games like popeye, dk, dk jr., tempest, tempest tubes, marble madness, joust, drogons lair, space ace, missille command, ms pac, robotron, centipede, millipede, crystal castles, video pinball, among others! was this an upgrade to an ultracade or was this purchased like this? very cool!

i thought of that! but it would be kinda hard to explain why a 38 year old man with long hair is taking pictures of an arcade full of young children!!!

Asteroids Deluxe, Black Widow--I'm sold!

Any reviews or thoughts on how it plays?

the tiki golf place on middle country road in centereach. right next to the burger king. across from the wall mart. cool place!

ooo man I haven't been to castle golf in forever! didn't know they changed owners/names. i'll have to check it out soon

A lot of the TA Truckstops have these, and they are set on freeplay. I have been off the road and driving local for a while now, but 1-2 years ago every one I stopped at had one.

Kerri... Why not just build a Mame cab and put the same game lineup in?? You know Multicades are not the original hardware. It is the same thing.

The only Ultra Maximus arcade I want to own:

i'm right off exit 53. you should check it out again. the golfs not exactly challenging but it's still a good time with the karts and all. it's called tikki action park now!

I have no such reservations taking pictures in an arcade, did it look like this one? My MAME cabinet plays all those games and more. I don't know why everyone is so against it - if you don't have the original, you can get your fix in MAME (and save space too!).

they used to have one of those at the dave and busters in Islandia...pretty sure it's gone. some great games on those machines

I've seen a few of these... Used to have one in the breakroom of an old job. There is one in a laundromat about 3 blocks from my house. I didn't know these were hard to find? lol.
