Preserving the classics, one kid at a time (5, 4, 3, and 2 year olds here) - in their pajamas no less.

Awesome! So rad that at least some kids can appreciate the classics. Now I just have to get a machine my son can actually play. xD

And that's how it should be. Although this makes me wish my dad would have had games like this for me when I was little.

My dad said something like this after I started collecting. He was like the town Pac-Man champ back in the early 80s, and was like if I had only thought of it, I had tons of chances to get machines that I could have kept for you.

Oh well, at least now I can collect them and share with him and my son. :D

You are a better man than me. My son is 3.5 and when he goes out to the garcade it's like Godzilla unleashed on Japan.. He is banned with a probation hearing to happen again at 4 yrs old. :D

Yeah, but how quickly do they get bored with them? I've had kiddo's come over and check out the games for about 10 minutes and then head over to the 360/Wii.

Ha, I went through that too.

They are in and out of the gameroom when the games are on. If Im in there playing something, they will stay no matter what.

Awesome jow. I get more excited when kids thoroughly enjoy my games than when adults do. Gives you a sense that these games might just live on in the coming generations. :) I had a local collector party last weekend and TheSilby came with his son, who as I recall is about 8 or 9. Man, it seemed like the kid completely enjoyed playing every single game I have.

Yeah, these pics remind me of when I was that age seeing these games for the first time. Of course I went through it when home consoles sucked compared to these games. It's a good feeling to me when anyone enjoys the fruits of my collecting labors and doesn't think I am just some wacky hoarder. Nice pics! It looks like that are having a blast.
