I have been in the hobby for awhile now and most of the people in Ohio will tell you I buy too much and most of the time they think I pay too much, so I just have to share the last week of game work with you:

1. Pacman Cocktail - Nonworking with a spare monitor and spare board set
- Turns out it just needed some wiring tweaks (1 hour) and it works (monitor needs a cap kit)
- Both spares work as well - NOT BAD!

2. Wizard Fire - DOA, no power to anything - left sit for 4 weeks, finally decided to check it, turned out to be a bad fuse block (15 minute fix), monitor needs a cap kit, otherwise works fine!

3. Leland Quarterback #1 - was "dead". I could tell the game was on, but decided not to be a free repairman. I paid the guy and brought it home. Monitor needs a flyback, otherwise game works perfectly.

4. Leland Quarterback #2 - was completely dead - new switcher and everything (including monitor) works 100%

5. Golden Axe - bad flyback otherwise 100%

6. Hang on Mini - bad switcher

7. Bionic Commando - bad monitor (unknown) plays blind... last owner apparently never tried to give it credits....

Compare that to some of my other purchases and I have had one HELLUVA week.

(For example I paid $125 for a Heavy Barrel in a Centipede cabinet and the cabinet disintegrated on the way home...monitor was fried, sold boards and joysticks for $50...OUCH)

Sounds like it was a win-win for me and u on the Pede/Pac trade!

I still love hearing the story of the heavy barrel. Man what rough luck but the cab turning to dust analogy is great!
