The Making of an Arcade Game article - Enter magazine

That's cool, thanks for sharing. Love how they put the word mouse in quotes and also describe the graphics as 'amazingly detailed'. I can't get over the shiny new parts in all the photos. I've never actually seen a brand new factory fresh machine.

Thanks for sharing! That was cool. Putting out a thousand machines a day. Wow! What size warehouse do you need to accommodate several thousand Spy Hunter cockpits!

The graphics were pretty detailed. I think Bally/Midway's hardware offered the highest rez graphics at the time. Yeah, 1,000 machines a day is impressive.

Nice read, thanks for sharing. Yeah I remember the graphics being a big wow on this game at the time as a kid, though it wouldn't take much as young as I was. Fun game but I suck at it, I doubt I will ever desire one for home.

I do remember it was a big deal being able to get to the motor boat part of the game too.

I just watched a longplay vid on YouTube of someone who can play it much better than I ever could. I have no idea how he's playing in MAME.

I don't remember there being icy roads! Damn that game gets crazy. Late in the game there's nothing but enemy cars!

Yeah, icy roads is where it starts getting hard.
