The let's get Clint (Official Aurcade Ref) to the ACAM / FUNSPOT tournament!!
Okay - so those of us going (or thinking about going) to the John's Arcade Impossible Outsiders 2015 - Tournament and Meet-Up
If you're not aware of this already, we'd like to make this 'official' and need everyone to help pitch in to make possible. Nobody is profiteering from this event, we are all mainly going to hang out with our bros. in 'cade - but we really need to get our favorite Arcade Outsiders Aurcade Official Referee Clint there.
He gets the job done, and does a great job - here he was at Grinkfest 2014 in the middle of updating the latest scores:
Update - After Clint checked/reserved all flight/hotel/car ($580 not including gas/parking)...it turns out it will cost less...making for a new goal of only $600, just stretched a little to $625 to help cover all the gas/parking fees!!
blkdog7 has already committed to pony up $50 and I will throw another $25 in to get us started. That's $525 more to go - once the goal has been met, no more funding needed to get him to the event. If each person wanting to help out can average $25, that's 21 more people we need. Previous tournaments at Funspot were $60 to enter (included tokens to play). Roughly $20 will get you a ton of tokens/coupons for plenty to last most or all of the tournament. Adding $25 to pony up and help get Clint there still gets a net savings (ahem, treat yourself to pizza/beer/drink, ahem).
Here is the thing - this needs to get funded ASAP in order to get locked in on the flight/lodging. Please send all payments to be sent as 'gift' and non-refundable ASAP, I have sent PMs to everyone with the info.
