At Grinkfest, I remember Steve having a bunch of his employees (like 3 or 4 of them) running around and logging scores and helping Clint out. With that small tournament, the extra help AND Clint- it was still tough to find someone to record a score. How is Clint going to do it all himself with this being a larger tournament? Just a thought...

Sadly, I won't be going. I've tried every which way but loose to make this happen. It just falls one weekend short of where I need it to be. Well, I'll see y'all at Grinkfest anyway, but will miss out on the paddle boats and hot breath weenie roast.

I'm no Debbie Downer (although I have been called Head Down Donnie by Phetishboy before).
This is a legitimate concern. I suck at video games, but even when I did raise my hand to record a score at Grinkfest- it was tough to get someone to come by. I couldn't care less, but I bet all the real high score guys will care.

We can do the honor method again, and use screen shots from phones. We did that before with no issues. You get a score, take a photo of your score and immediately walk it over to Clint to record it.

1. Don't count on machines working. Funspot always has a fair amount of games out of order. So if you are thinking of using (for example) TX1, Mini Golf or Juno First in the tournament you'll be SOL. WHY? TX1 has graphics errors and the shifter is suspect, Mini Golf was turned off a few months ago and Juno First has a really dim screen.
1b. And don't forget a game can break half way through day 1 and Funspot staff may not be able to get to fixing it.
2. Are you getting Funspot to move the games into a certain area for this tournament? Like all lined up. If no, your scorer(s) are gonna be running all over the place to record scores.
Those are the 2 big problems I see.
P.S. God help you if you sit in my seat in the tavern....God help you.

....Awesome guys, thanks for getting this GROUP EFFORT going and making all possible!
I received an e-mail from Clint this morning, he wants to extend a HUGE thank you to all who are pitching in and is excited about helping make this a great event
He also added that he had received funds from approximately half the people as of then and shocked how quickly its happening.....guys, we just broke his PayPal cherry LOL !!
Thanks for the suggestion OldTymeToys, brought that up to Clint along with a few other items we are still working on getting dialed in. As jow mentioned, he has done this solo (with games spread out) and was able to pull it off....but we may be looking to get one or two local volunteers that he would direct (similar to Grinkfest 2014)....more info to come.

I can ref as well.
I am god awful at the games and wasn't planning on competing... I love playing them all, but never devote enough time to any one to get good at it.

Indeed. I'll be around Thur night though, I'm not sure when Clint arrives but if you find me on Thur night (I'm the guy in the Cardinals cap), I'll happily input a score for you outside of the tourney for the small fee of a beer or a bingo entry for the wife or a Brian Kuh impersonation.
I was in full panic mode, sorry.

Not sure if those times are accurate. I'm actually not sure when we will be whipping them out or who's going to be blowing through when we do. Possibly Marky Mark? Maybe half of the funky bunch? I guess you'll just have to show up to find out.
