The KLOV Arcade Mixtape!

I would have to say Fantasy by Aldo Nova.
The first arcade I used to hang out in had it on the jukebox. The song was popular at the time and the guitar solo blew me away.

Once this list is almost complete, it'll be time for a KLOV MIX TAPE. :D
(I believe, a long time ago, we had an RGVAC MIX TAPE list too ...)

Centerfold, J Geils Band

Kinda like going to the arcade itself, at the time, this song just seemed to be just a little bit more than my parents really wanted my 10 year old self to be a part of.

Donkey Kong Jr. also used the beginning Bach's Tocatta and Fugue.

Sky's rendition of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, which was the version that was ultimately remixed for use in Gyruss.

Almost always heard this blasting out of Gyruss when I walked into the arcade I went to at the time. The game had its volume cranked up for pretty obvious reasons, and kinda makes me wonder if it didn't have an influence on later bands like Apocalyptica.

For me it's Abracadabra by The Steve Miller Band. Although, the song isn't that great, it specifically takes me back to a mall arcade in 82. I've got it in the jukebox for that very reason.

A link has been added to the original post, and I'll continue to add songs to the playlist as we get more submissions. We'll keep this thing growing!

I also made my first executive order and vetoed "What Does the Fox Say?" It has been replaced with "Poison" by Bell Biv DeVoe - a song that reminds me of playing Berzerk and Pleiades at my elementary school's rec center in the Summer of '89.
