Just curious to know. . .

Personally speaking, which games have the most incredibly difficult first level to the point of:

a) It takes more than $2 to complete level 1

-or-

b) No matter what, you just get frustrated and give up, not finishing level 1

so has anyone actually confirmed there is a second round? I know I've never seen it and i own the game.

I also own it and have never made the second round. I believe there is a video of a guy playing and clearing the 1st round.

I'll vote for Bagman too....and YES there is a second level. I was playing this game alot 10 years ago on MAME, and I did make it to the 2nd level two or three times.

I was also going to say Ghosts & Goblins. That's the one game where I get super pissed and have to walk away during the first level. Usually it goes like this... "YES I just got the green armor and a new weapon...$HIT I just lost it!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The other for me is Total Carnage. I can beat the first level, but it takes about $10. Orcus eats all my coins.

I go with bagman too. Still to this day have no idea whats going on. If i took a minute to learn, i KNOW i would find out its a lot of effort to get past, so i just dont bother.

Now, when i first played that one back in the day (Chuck e Cheese, 83 or so) i was amazed by it and kept popping quarters, just being happy to control the guy - it was unique and no other game like it.

Today, the sentimental fool that i am, i would usually get one just for the memories of it, and have considered it - but wouldnt because again, i know how frustrating it would be!

Yes. Bagman.

Legendary Wings becomes pretty difficult unless you have memorized the layouts and are ready for EVERYTHING.

Mega Zone - damned difficult and you can't continue

My choice would be Bagman as well...

I would also throw Looping in the mix.... *Almost* 1 out of 10 tries, I can get past the pool balls.....

Ghosts N Goblins.... harder than Ghouls N Ghosts, but not by much.
The reason is that 2 hits and you are dead, no matter what armor you have.
Also there are only 1 continue spot on each level (not including the start of the level).
