The beacon on my Getaway used to light up, and after a few seconds, would start spinning. I figured that was just a situation where the beacon motor needed replacing...no biggie.

However, I noticed tonight that the light doesn't even fire up anymore. Whether in-game or in test mode, it's just dead.

Any ideas as to what the most likely culprit is?

there maybe a fuse in the back box it would be a blue and orange wire going to it.the driver transistor is q22 you can test it on the board

When I run a software test on the mars lamp, the following happens simultaneously: the bulb lights, the beacon motor engages, and the LED on the Triac board comes on. (By the way, shouldn't the LED on my Triac board be lit up all of the time?)

However, all of this only happens for a second, then it stops. And when I say the beacon motor engages, I mean I can hear it power on and attempt to turn, but it never actually moves.

Could a bad beacon motor be causing all of this?

Make sure the reflector is not hung up on the lamp holder. That was the case on mine. Just bend it back into the correct position so it rotates.

I've seen the same problem as Sealclubber, where the reflector assembly needed adjustment so it would rotate correctly.
