hello ., can any one tell me what the 1990 atari shuuz game is worth and how rare is it ? this is the first one i have seen .

to the right collector a very nice dedicated Shuuz would be worth dropping that kind of coin on. it does seem to have something of a cult following, and the dedicated cabinets available have been few and far between. even a nice conversion may command a bit of money from the right buyer.

that being said, it's not exactly a well-known or popular game with the public. finding a non-collector buyer for it may be difficult, much less getting anything near $250-$750 in the currently market.

if it's a crappy conversion with a decent kit the parts alone [pcb, marquee, bezel] might be worth $100-$200, depending on the condition of the art.

shuuz is pretty good. I went to an auction in 07 and didnt have room to bid on a dedicated shuuz. It went for 75 bucks and I have regretted it ever since.

350 is a pretty fair price, although Ive seen them listed for twice that.

$750 for Shuuz? Wow.

For a dedicated, I think thats the ballpark. Buy the kit cabinet, I am sure you can get it for $250-$350.

If someone had the deciated cabinets control panel, I would be interested in it and the board(drop right into my klax).

I wouldn't pay that kind of dough for a dedicated...or conversion. The game rocks, but it's emulated perfectly in MAME which is good enough for me. If a nice conversion (or dedicated) came up locally for $100-$200 I may consider it.

yeah, but we're all cheap bastards. i don't think the real collectors frequent the forums here much. :)

Real collector or not, there has to be a point where you don't just piss money away. Shuuz is cool, but not that cool.

I'd rather be a "fake" collector and have some dough in my pocket (as well as bragging rights to the $100 "name your cade here") than a "real" collector, broke and the "bragging" right to the $1,500 "name your cade here"...

I have 2 NOS Shuuz opto couplers if anyone need/wants them.
$40 each + shipping.

There was NO dedicated Shuuz, I repeat there was No Dedicated Shuuz, thank you.
I had one, loved it, should have never sold it.

For a mint Shuuz I'd pay approx. $500. Great game. Needs dedicated CP.

Me and my son love it.

Agree with Frizzle, Mame does a nice job emulating, and I will say Shuuz gets a lot of play from the fellas on poker night in the garage on my Mame machine....I would not pay more than $250 probably but it would be nice to have one...
